This Policy applies to all Users and Agents interacting with Aqvaruna via website, mobile application, or affiliated services. It governs how personal, transactional, and operational data is collected, used, retained, and secured.
User Data: Name, contact details, address, payment information.
Agent Data: Business licenses, KYC documents, banking details.
Transaction Data: Orders, invoices, settlements, POD logs, refund requests.
Technical Data: Device IDs, IP address, cookies, geolocation, OTP confirmations.
Container/Asset Data: Deposits, serial numbers, return logs.
Service Fulfilment: Processing orders, refunds, payouts.
Compliance: Tax, audit, financial reporting obligations.
Fraud Prevention: Detecting duplicate orders, chargeback fraud, misuse.
Service Improvement: Analytics dashboards, SLA meters, operational reporting.
Safety & Security: Hygiene checks, liability investigations, recall notices.
Invoices & Tax Data: Up to 8 years (statutory requirement).
Transaction Logs & POD: Retained for 2 years, then anonymized.
Fraud/Chargeback Evidence: Case-specific, up to 5 years.
Wallet & Cashback Credits: Retained until expiry or account deletion.
Account Data: Deleted within 30 days of verified request, subject to compliance exceptions.
Users may request deletion via app or email.
A pre-deletion warning screen will display wallet balances, with option to use before deletion.
Unused balances after deletion are forfeited.
Deleted accounts cannot be reinstated; users may register anew.
Data with third parties (payment gateways, regulators) may persist per their retention rules.
With Payment Gateways for secure processing.
With Agents for delivery fulfilment.
With Regulators as mandated by law.
With Vendors (analytics, communication) under data protection agreements.
Encryption at rest and in transit.
Segregated databases for financial vs. operational data.
Incident detection systems and DLP tools.
Role-based restricted access.
Breach Notification: Users/Agents notified within 72 hours of confirmed data breach, including facts, data affected, and remediation steps.
Right to access, rectify, and request deletion of data.
Right to know categories of data retained post-deletion.
Right to restrict processing during disputes.
Right to escalate unresolved complaints to regulators.
This Policy shall be governed by the laws of India.

Response Timelines: Acknowledge within 48h, resolve within 15 days.
Escalation: Users may escalate unresolved complaints to:
